The Client
Rangemaster is today's number one brand in premium range cooking in the UK. With over 200 years of manufacturing excellence, Rangemasters' range cookers are still manufactured in Royal Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
Comtec has been working with Rangemaster for over 10 years, assisting with the translation of technical information and user manuals for their vast range of range cookers. Building up an extensive translation memory has enabled Comtec to offer faster turnaround times, ensure consistency in terminology and style, and most importantly, offer significant cost savings.
The Task
During 2008 Rangemaster required Comtec to translate a series of manuals providing operating instructions for the various models of range cookers manufactured by the company. The manuals were translated into a number of languages, such as French, German, Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Danish, Portuguese, Russian, Polish Norwegian and Greek.
